What to expect as a Diet Aide at Saint Mary Home:

A Diet Aide at Saint Mary Home is an active participant in care and provides quality food and a person-centered dining service experience to residents, families, and guests.

R equired knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Education – High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience – Previous food and dining service experience preferred

  • Function Specific Experience – Basic customer service and food sanitation knowledge

  • Certification – Food Protection Manager Certification preferred

  • Equipment – General kitchen equipment

  • Specialized Skills – Ability to read and comprehend the English language; Communicates effectively with colleagues and residents

  • Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
