Amazon Devices — the team behind the best-selling Fire TV, Kindle and Amazon Echo — is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, customer-obsessed, and creative Marketing Specialist. You will be part of a team that embraces calculated risk taking, moving fast to bring value to customers and has fun together while doing so.

In this role, you'll build a deep understanding of our customers, working closely with local and international stakeholders and earning trust at all levels in building marketing and content campaigns and rapidly transitioning to successful implementation.

The successful candidate will be creative, innovative and a strong communicator, great at meeting multiple deadlines through exceptional planning skills, and able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and execute marketing initiatives end to end: targeting, budget allocation, performance optimization and reporting.

• Ideate, develop, and execute unique partner marketing initiatives.

• Develop cross-channel branding and messaging strategies, and ensure execution consistency.

• Drive Experimentation end-to-end from generating a hypothesis to sharing results with leadership

• Develop and analyze performance metrics and articulate these into written narratives to drive business decisions.

A day in the life

To succeed, you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, wear several hats, show hustle, and work collaboratively across multiple teams. You will work closely with other marketing and product teams to create, flight, test and track marketing campaigns and storefront experiences. You will also identify opportunities for efficiency and automation and work cross-functionally on implementation. You'll have an eye for compelling content and CX, an aptitude for cross-functional partnership, and a passion for testing. You will hold a high bar for execution and measurement of performance, and will define success metrics and refine processes for your efforts. The successful candidate will have strong experience in building a testing strategy and executing and sharing results with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with streaming media players/consumer electronics

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to navigate a cross-functional environment

  • Experience in process improvement

  • Experience in site merchandising

  • Experience in A/B testing
