FocusKPI is looking for a Community & Learning Copywriter to join our Brand & Creative team at our client, a high-tech SaaS company.
Our client is looking for a Copywriter with performance marketing experience and the talent to write resonating copy that converts. As the Community and Learning Performance Copywriter, you will support the Community and Learning Marketing team in building full-funnel campaigns, web copy, blogs, and more. You will be responsible for creating copy that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion for their solutions and events.
You'll focus on copy that supports Community and Learning at the client team. Do you have what it takes to help build and coordinate compelling promotion campaigns for a global community user audience? Can you write persuasive copy to encourage more people to take their courses and become champions of our client's brand?
Work Location: Remote - anywhere in US
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $32/hr to $52/hr
Responsibilities:
As a Community & Learning Copywriter, you will work directly with the in-house Creative Studio and the client's Community and Marketing team. You'll play a vital role in various crucial marketing projects, including our blog. You'll create compelling content that educates our readers, shares our story and vision, promotes our brand, and makes an impact across digital platforms
Research, write, and edit content across the marketing stack for various audiences, topics, styles, and channels, including blogs, social posts, websites, white papers, case studies, and more
Design asset coordination: Partner with designers on the in-house Creative Studio to develop design assets for all campaigns, ensuring each aligns with the campaign message and goals
Reporting, tracking, and campaign measurement: Support pulling campaign tracking, screenshots, and metrics for each campaign to allow the senior management to make strategic decisions on marketing planning
Looking for a confident and creative writer, self-starter, thinker, communicator, and team player who inspires everyone around them
Strong written and verbal skills are a must
Qualifications:
In this role, you will:
Produce excellent written content as a copywriter
Conversion copywriter: You will create persuasive and compelling copy for various digital platforms, such as our website, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media. You will assist in developing content strategies that align with our brand messaging and business objectives. You will also ensure all copy is accurate, error-free, and meets editorial standards consistently
Excel in transforming complex topics into compelling stories for blogs, articles, email, advertising (paid or organic), and more. You'll think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and write passionately
Work cross-functionally: provide copy editing and writing support to key stakeholders across the organization
Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
On your first day, they'll expect:
1-3 years of previous marketing experience, specifically as a copywriter with performance marketing skills as well as marketing project management
Degree: Nice to have- bachelors in advertising, marketing or similar background
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Editorial background with a strong track record of building effective content that drives action
Must be a story-teller
Tech background (SaaS) is required to have
Agency experience is a plus
Ability to master complex concepts quickly and independently
Self-learner who has strong personal momentum and editorial judgment
Strong ability to work autonomously through ambiguity and complexity in a fast-moving environment to drive results
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to influence and get buy-in
Comfortability in working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge supporting multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns (experience preferred)
Project management expertise, including virtual teams
Superb prioritization skills to individually detect and deliver the most important things first
Ability to multitask and take the lead on several tasks simultaneously
Experience with social media marketing on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Quora, Reddit, TikTok, and others
Not required, but a plus:
Community and Learning marketing experience (preferably in tech)
Experience in an editorial role in tech SaaS firms
Strong presentation skills
Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Slack
