EAP Counselor Job Summary Will provide assessment, short-term counseling, crisis intervention and linkage/referral for employees and their family members, to include children, adolescents and adults, couples, and family counseling. Will provide substance abuse assessment, intervention and referrals in addition to management consultations and lunch-n-learn presentations and training on such topics as Stress Management, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Sexual Harassment and Diversity. Will provide Tele-EAP services via TEAMS confidential platform. Experience in Tele-therapy a plus but will provide training. EAP Counselor Qualifications Position is located primarily in Pinehurst, NC but will involve travel to other FirstHealth EAP locations in Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Richmond and Scotland Counties. Masters Degree required in clinical human services discipline, i.e. counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical addictions specialist, psychology. Certification as an EAP professional preferred. Clinical licensure as required by state. Minimum 2-4 years experience required including two or more of the following areas: employee assistance, mental health, behavioral health, marriage and family therapy, substance abuse treatment, private psychotherapy practice. NC driver’s license with good driving record required.
