Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in New York, New York

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team located in New York. This role sits within the technology industry, providing critical support and solutions to our internal teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems

• Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases

• Conduct timely repair of IT equipment and peripheral devices that are covered by third-party maintenance agreements

• Assist in the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for presentations and meetings

• Maintain and update a variety of software applications

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot 'end-user' workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices

• Manage user access control privileges associated with computing resources (e.g. file servers, email)

• Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies

• Understand and follow company policies regarding data governance, security, and acceptable use. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies

• Experience working with Dell Technologies

• Understanding of EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Mac Computers

• Proficiency in Microsoft software and applications

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Ability to handle Deployments effectively

• Experience in Deskside Support

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Willingness to stay updated with latest technological advancements

• Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
