Amazon Senior Compliance Program Manager in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager with a proven track record of delivering results, to support the Retail Business in fulfilling its regulatory obligations.

Amazon strives to ensure Customers a worry free experience across a breadth of regulations including Product, Environmental, Tax, Pricing. Following several major changes in the EU regulatory landscape, this role will be responsible for re-designing and launching a new way of working which is fit for the future. The PM will evaluate the breadth of regulations and requirements impacting Retail, to create a new framework which spans the Compliance workflow from horizon scanning to project scoping and implementation. This will include developing solutions which allow us to work at scale and pace and identifying opportunities to work better across Amazon functions. This is a unique opportunity to Think Big in a space that has a multi-billion-dollar impact for Amazon.

The candidate must have strong communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with partner teams and challenge the status quo. They should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a high visibility role to VP/Director groups across teams.

This role can be based in Luxembourg, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain or France.

Key job responsibilities

• Deep dive and develop a single, in depth view of Amazon regulations and ways of working

• Launch new Compliance workflows, and define roles/responsibilities, goals and mechanisms

• Work with partner teams to develop solutions where there are workflow gaps or opportunities to do more/better, including resourcing and tech asks

• Drive awareness and adoption of new workflows across all teams

• Measure improvements and impact of changes

• Manage engagement with multiple business stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
